To offer further clarification after fans believed that it will be taken off of Steam at some point, an Epic spokesperson providing the following message to USgamer: Anyone who owns Rocket League through Steam can still play it and can look forward to continued support." What about Steam? Well, Psyonix felt the need to clarify this after the announcement, saying that "Rocket League is and remains available on Steam. Psyonix says nothing will change in the short term regarding updates, features, and content, but they plan "to leverage our new relationship to grow the game in ways we couldn't do on our own before." The development team will stay the same too. Epic Games has been making statements in the PC space everywhere you look, signing exclusivity deals for their store since revealing it, and now Psyonix has announced that they're also "joining the Epic Games family", which of course means Rocket League is coming to the Epic Games Store.
